Worked in a high-volume tertiary eye-care centre with extensive exposure to complex retinal disorders and vitreoretinal surgery. Managed a wide spectrum of medical and surgical retinal conditions and was actively involved in clinical and surgical training of fellows.

Dr. Vidhata is a Vitreo-Retina and Uvea Specialist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal diseases and vitreoretinal surgery. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Patna Medical College & Hospital, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence in Ophthalmology. He subsequently completed his MS in Ophthalmology from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata.

Driven by a particular interest in retinal diseases, he pursued specialised fellowship training in Vitreo-Retina and Uvea at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot, a renowned tertiary eye-care institution of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust. During his fellowship and subsequent consultancy, he gained extensive experience in the management of complex retinal disorders and vitreoretinal surgical procedures.

His surgical experience includes retinal detachment surgery, pars plana vitrectomy, diabetic vitrectomy, management of vitreous haemorrhage, macular hole surgery, epiretinal membrane surgery, scleral-fixated intraocular lens procedures, management of dropped intraocular lenses, endophthalmitis vitrectomy and ocular trauma. He has a particular interest in complex vitreoretinal surgery, scleral-fixated IOLs, pneumatic retinopexy, endophthalmitis surgery and ocular trauma.
